I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. That said this is not the first Brother Scanner that I own. I continue to purchase products from Brothers because they are quality products that stand the test of time. My first experience with Brother products was a type writer back in 1985. Brother has made some quality products over the years. Again, my Toshiba had a auto-correct feature that took the slight mis-skew's out of the scan.ĭurable and Reliable Products. If the paper is not stacked perfectly straight it will skew your scan. The feeder almost always slightly skews the paper when feeding. Cant seem to find a good balance between a legable scan & file size. The black/white scanning feature could also be improved. It takes forever to come back online and sometimes it never's does forcing a complete reset of the on/off process. Also, for whatever reason the sleep feature does't always activate to ON status when I launch the app. Very annoying, I had a Toshiba scanner before purchasing this Brother that worked much better sensing the contact w/ the paper. Does'nt always pick up the paper unless it is pushed all the way down into the feeder slot. The paper feed area is a little too sensitive.
